Texture
Objective: To create a 3D art sculpture to demonstrate texture.
Results: A blanket covered in different materials to show materials. The sculpture was then painted white to showcase the materials and textures and not the colors.
Scale
Objective: To create a 3D art sculpture to demonstrate scale.
Results: An acorn that was made out of chicken wire and fabric. The top of the acorn was a knit blanket that was then braided to form the texture of an acorn.
Color
Objective: To create a 3D art sculpture to demonstrate color.
Results: An installation that demonstrates how color changes your environment. These panels that covered the bathroom stalls demonstrated how this neon green creates an uneasy environment and feels as if the space is much smaller than it actually is.
Space
Objective: To create a 3D art sculpture to define or fill a space.
Results: An installation that defines and fills a space with Christmas presents. The entrance is filled from top to bottom with presents to illude to the idea that the presents are flowing out the room.
